One man was arrested in relation to a weapons complaint on Friday night.

On July 19, 2024 at approximately 8:30 p.m. police were called to the 3800 block of Miyowahkohtowin Road for a weapons complaint. While responding, further updates were received that a man had a firearm.

Upon arrival, officers located a man matching the description of the suspect and arrested him without incident. A search of his person did not locate anything of significance; however, upon further investigation, officers located an imitation firearm nearby.

It is believed the suspect pointed the firearm at multiple people. As a result, a 49-year-old man is facing multiple firearms charges, as well as three counts of assault with a weapon.
