A man wanted in relation to the Saskatoon homicide of 24-year-old Melissa Duquette was arrested by RCMP on Monday.
On July 22, 2024 Pelican Narrows RCMP located and arrested Kendell Ameech in Pelican Narrows.
Kendell Ameech is scheduled to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court later this week.

The Saskatoon Police Major Crime Section has charged two people in relation to the homicide of 24-year-old Melissa Duquette.
On July 17, 2024, a 33-year-old man and a 23-year-old man were charged with First Degree Murder. Both were arrested in Saskatoon and appeared in court this morning.
28-year-old Kendell Ameech is also arrestable for this homicide and a warrant has been issued for his arrest. A photo is attached for distribution.

The Saskatoon Police Service can now confirm the deceased woman is 24-year-old, Melissa Duquette.
Saskatoon Police Major Crime Section is now investigating this as Saskatoon’s 7th homicide.
