A 31-year-old man has been charged following a homicide that occurred last year.
This morning, the Saskatoon Police Major Crime Section, with assistance from the Guns and Gangs Unit and the Saskatchewan RCMP's Warrant Enforcement and Suppression Team (WEST) were able to locate the man and take him into custody in Saskatoon.
The 31-year-old man from Saskatoon is charged with 1st Degree murder. He will make his first appearance in Saskatoon Provincial Court at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2024.

Saskatoon Police are continuing to investigate the December 2023 homicide of a 33-year-old man.
Investigators with the Major Crime Section are releasing additional images of two persons they are seeking to identify and speak with. One individual is wearing a backwards black baseball hat, a black and red jacket, and carrying a blue bag. The second is wearing a black jacket, light-coloured pants, and distinct black-and-white shoes. The individuals were seen at approximately 1:40 a.m., December 14, 2023, outside a business in the 2200 block of 22nd Street West.
