One woman has been arrested following an aggravated assault early Saturday morning.

On August 3, 2024 at approximately 2:40 a.m. police were called to the 2200 block of 22nd Street West for a report of a stabbing. Further updates stated the suspects were female and leaving Eastbound.

Upon arrival, officers located the 23-year-old man suffering from what was initially believed to be a life-threatening injury. The man was taken to hospital and treated for what was then found to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers then located and arrested the female suspects a couple blocks away with the help of the Air Support Unit (ASU). As a result, a 28-year-old woman is facing charges relating to aggravated assault, possession of a weapon, and concealing a weapon.
