One man is facing charges in relation to a weapons complaint Monday morning.

On August 5, 2024 at approximately 4:10 a.m. police were called to the 1400 block of Avenue M South for a weapons call. Call information stated a male was at the side of a building with a firearm.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with two witnesses who helped with a suspect description. Police then began searching the area and eventually located the suspect in a vehicle. A high-risk vehicle stop was conducted and the male was taken into custody.

After arriving at police detention, the man began to damage police property.

As a result, a 32-year-old man is facing charges relating to carrying a weapon, concealing a weapon, mischief under $5000, as well as breaching a conditional sentence order (x4), and breaching a probation order.
