A man was arrested Monday afternoon in relation to an assault.

At approximately 2:20 p.m. on August 5, 2024 police were called to the 1600 block of Avenue H North for a report of an unknown problem. Further information stated a male had been assaulted.

Upon arrival, officers located a 14-year-old male victim suffering from injuries consistent with an assault. Officers then located and arrested the suspect at a residence in the 1500 block of Avenue F North.

It is believed the victim and suspect are known to each other.

As a result, a 38-year-old man is facing charges relating to assault, uttering threats, and failure to comply with court ordered conditions.
