One woman was arrested following a stabbing on Monday morning.

On August 12, 2024 at approximately 9:10 a.m. police were called to the 30 block of Chandler Place for a report of an unknown problem. During the call a male and female were overheard arguing. Shortly after, another call came in and a female stated she had stabbed someone.

Upon arrival, officers located and injured man suffering from injuries consistent with a stab wound; the man was then transported to hospital with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect had fled the scene before police arrival; however, the victim described her as female, approximately 35-years-old, wearing a black top, and potentially black pants. On August 13, 2024, members of Patrol located and arrested the suspect in the 3400 block of Centennial Drive. The suspect and victim are believed to be known to one another.
