Police are investigation in relation to a stabbing early Saturday morning.

At approximately 6:00 a.m. on August 31, 2024, police received a report of an injured female in the area of Meadows Blvd and Stilling Lane. Further updates stated a female had been stabbed.

Upon arrival, officers located the 24-year-old female suffering from injuries consistent with a stab wound. The victim told officers the stabbing happened while getting a ride to Saskatoon from Prince Albert. She was treated by paramedics and transported to hospital with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

The Saskatoon Police Serious Assault Unit (SAU) is continuing to investigate and anyone with information that may assist in the investigation is asked to contact police at 306-975-8300, or submit a tip anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
