Members of the Collision Analyst Unit are continuing to investigate a fatal collision involving a cyclist that occurred on September 8, 2024 at 22nd Street West and Avenue K North.
Upon police arrival, officers located a female suffering from life-threatening injuries laying on the ground; the female was taken to hospital where she was later pronounced deceased.
Upon further investigation, it is believed the vehicle was travelling in the far-right Westbound lane of 22nd Street West and the cyclist was travelling Eastbound in the Westbound lanes of 22nd Street West at the time of the collision.
Police are still attempting to identify the deceased female in this collision and anyone with information that may assist is asked to contact police at 306-975-8300.
At approximately 8:45 P.M. Patrol Officers responded to a vehicle collision involving a cyclist in the westbound lanes of 22nd Street and Avenue K. One person has been transported to hospital with undetermined injuries.
Traffic restrictions in the westbound lanes of 22nd Street between Avenue H and Avenue M are in place as the SPS Collision Analyst Unit investigates.
