One male from Southend Saskatchewan has been arrested and a warrant has been requested for another following an assault Sunday night.

On September 8, 2024, at approximately 11:20 p.m. police were called to the 100 block of Cardinal Crescent for a report of an injured person. Initial information stated a male had been stabbed.

Upon arrival, officers located a male suffering from injuries consistent with a stabbing sitting in the lobby of the building. He was treated by paramedics and transported to hospital with what were believed to be serious injuries.

Upon further investigation, other officers were able to locate and arrest a 17-year-old male. A warrant has been requested for the arrest of an 18-year-old male.

As a result, the 17-year-old male is facing charges relating to assault, possession of a weapon, and breaching court ordered conditions. The 18-year-old male faces charges relating to aggravated assault, possession of a weapon, and breaching court ordered conditions.
