A Saskatoon man has been arrested in relation to an assault early Tuesday morning.

On September 10, 2024 at approximately 12:20 a.m. police were called to the 900 block of 22nd Street West for a report of an injured person.

Upon arrival, officers located a 47-year-old man on the ground suffering from what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. The man was treated by paramedics and transported to hospital.

Officers were able to obtain video footage of the incident containing actions consistent with and assault. Officers were then able to obtain a suspect description and shortly after, were able to locate and arrest the suspect without incident.

As a result, a 19-year-old man is facing charges relating to assault causing bodily harm.
