Shortly after 11:00 p.m. on September 5, 2024, investigators with the SPS Crime Reduction Team (CRT) conducted enforcement action as part of a drug investigation. With assistance of the Saskatoon Police Tactical Support Unit (TSU), two search warrants were executed at a business in the 700 block of Idylwyld Drive North.
As a result of the investigation police seized:
- Two prohibited rifles
- A loaded pistol
- A shotgun
- Ammunition
- Multiple knives
- Cocaine
- Fentanyl
- Methamphetamine
- Drug Paraphernalia
A 39-year-old man has been charged with 21 drug and firearm related offences. Five other persons have been charged with a number of breaches of court ordered conditions and also had a number of outstanding warrants for arrest.
A total of 24 charges were laid as a result of this investigation.
