A 45-year-old Saskatoon man is facing charges following a weapons incident at a Saskatoon business.

At approximately 11:00 a.m., Sept. 11, 2024, Police were called to the business in the 100 block of Avenue P South. It was reported that a man inside store was swinging around a metal bar, striking items in the store and threatening a staff member. He then reportedly fled the scene.

The male suspect was located in the area and arrested. No one was physically injured during the incident.

The man is charged with Assault with a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace and Uttering Threats.
