One man was arrested Wednesday morning in relation to a weapons call.

At approximately 9:10 a.m. on September 18, 2024 police received a report of a male pulling out a knife at a business in the 400 block of 3rd Avenue North.

Upon arrival, officers located a male matching the description of the suspect; he was arrested on scene without further incident. Upon further investigation, officers located a large piece of steel believed to be the weapon used in this incident.

As a result, a 31-year-old man is facing charges relating to assault with a weapon, uttering threats, and carrying a weapon dangerous to public peace.
