A 34 year old man is facing charges following a police response to an unknown problem at an RV park.

At approximately 1:45 a.m., September 20, 2024, officers were called to the park at Highway 16 and Auction Mart Road. Upon arrival, officers located a man spreading what appeared to be an accelerant and attempting to ignite it. The male had reportedly been involved in an altercation with a woman and then with a second male. The woman suffered minor physical injuries.

The 34 year old man was taken into custody and is facing charges of Attempted Arson, Possession of an Incendiary Device and Assault. He is expected to appear before a Justice of the Peace this afternoon.
