One man was arrested after police observed a stolen vehicle Sunday morning.

At approximately 1:40 a.m. on October 6, 2024 police observed a vehicle that had been reported stolen at the intersection of 22nd Street West and Avenue R South.

Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and the male in the driver’s seat was arrested without incident. Upon search of the vehicle, a loaded sawed-off shotgun was recovered.

As a result, a 43-year-old man is facing numerous weapons/firearm related charges, and possession of stolen property over $5000.
