One woman was treated at the hospital following a stabbing Monday morning.

On October 7, 2024 at approximately 10:30 a.m. police were called to the 1700 block of 20th Street West for a report of an injured person. Initial information stated a female had a stab wound.

Upon arrival, officers located the female suffering from injuries consistent with a stab wound. Upon further investigation, officers believe the incident happened in the 300 block of Avenue Q South. The victim was treated for her injuries at the hospital.

The suspect and the victim were known to one another and police are continuing to investigate.
