The 62-year-old subject of a missing person investigation has been located and found to be safe.

The Saskatoon Police Service is requesting public assistance in locating a missing 62-year-old.
Melvin Knife was last seen in the 100 block of Hospital Drive at approximately 12:30 a.m. on October 12, 2024. Melvin is described as 5’10”, approximately 230lbs, with brown eyes. Melvin was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans, and is known to use a wheelchair.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Melvin Knife is asked to contact police at 306-975-8300 or in an emergency 9-1-1. Anonymous information can also be provided to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. A photo is attached for distribution.
