Four people were arrested following a traffic stop where a firearm was located.

At approximately 7:30 p.m. on October 11, 2024 police observed a vehicle in the 400 block of 8th Street East believed to have been involved in an assault earlier in the evening where a firearm was involved.

Officers conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle and the four occupants were arrested. Upon further search of the vehicle, police located open alcohol, a loaded firearm, and an imitation firearm.

As a result, a 20-year-old man, 25-year-old man, 18-year-old man, and a 23-year-old woman are facing a number of firearm and weapons related charges.
