The Saskatoon Police Serious Assault Unit (SAU) is investigating following an aggravated assault over the weekend.
At approximately 3:50 p.m. on October 27, 2024 police were called to the 1900 block of 20th Street West for a report of an injured person. Initial information stated a female walked into a business saying she was stabbed.
Upon arrival, officers located the 28-year-old female suffering from injuries consistent with a stabbing; she was transported to hospital with what were believed to be serious injuries but non-life-threatening injuries. She also had a baby with her who was taken into the care of Mobile Crisis.
Upon further investigation, officers learned the altercation happened at a residence in the 300 block of Avenue S South. Officers attended to the residence and four people were detained for an aggravated assault investigation.
