One male was arrested Tuesday afternoon after a machete was located during a weapons call.

On November 12, 2024 at approximately 12:10 p.m. police were called to the 200 block of 1st Avenue South for a weapons call. Call information stated a male was inside a store with a firearm.

Arriving officers were able to locate and arrest the suspect for a weapons investigation. Upon search of his person, the male was found to be in possession of a machete.

The 17-year-old male is facing charges relating to carrying and concealing a weapon. He was also found to be breaching court ordered conditions.
