Members of the Saskatoon Crime Reduction Team (CRT) have concluded a drug trafficking investigation with the arrest of one man followed by a search warrant of a property.
At approximately 4:03 p.m., February 13, 2024 in the 1600 Block of Idylwyld Drive, the CRT with assistance from Saskatoon Tactical Support Unit (TSU) arrested a 26-year-old man who was suspected to be trafficking cocaine and fentanyl. Cash and Cocaine was seized from the man on arrest.
Shortly before 5 p.m., February 13, the CRT and TSU executed a search warrant in the 100 Block of Saguenay Drive. In a search of the residence, investigators located and seized cocaine, fentanyl pills, methamphetamine, a prohibited pistol magazine, machete and other contents consistent with drug trafficking.
A search of a vehicle operated by the man yielded additional cocaine, and methamphetamine.
In total the following exhibits were seized by investigators:

- 117.6 grams cocaine
- 37.1 grams methamphetamine
- 26 fentanyl pills
- 30 round pistol magazine (prohibited)
- Machete
As a result, the 26-year-old man has been charged with drug and weapon offences and possession of proceeds of crime.
