Police are investigating after bear spray was discharged inside a mall yesterday.
At around 7:30 p.m. on November 13, 2024, police were called to a mall in the 200 block of 1st Avenue South for a report of bear spray being discharged inside a store. Upon arrival, officers determined that a group of several males were inside the mall when two of them momentarily entered a store and discharged a can of bear spray before fleeing the area. The Saskatoon Fire Department assisted in assessing multiple people experiencing the effects of bear spray.
