The Saskatoon Police Service Crime Reduction Team (CRT) has concluded investigation into the drug trafficking activates of three men.
On November 27, 2024, members of the CRT conducted enforcement action on a group of individuals suspected of trafficking cocaine, fentanyl, and methamphetamine from a residence in the 300 block of Kolynchuk Manor.
At approximately 2:00 p.m., two 20-year-old men from Ontario were taken into custody without incident at a business in the 3100 block of Clarence Avenue South. A third 20-year-old man was arrested without incident a short time later. A search warrant for three vehicles and the residence on Kolynchuk Manor was executed in the early morning hours of November 28, 2024 resulting in the following evidentiary seizures;
- $69,269 CAD
- Approximately 16 kilograms of methamphetamine
- 470 grams of powdered cocaine
- 175 grams of carfentanyl
- 4 litres of gamma-hydroxybutyrate
- 16 grams of fentanyl
- Assorted paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking
As a result of this investigation, a total of 15 charges have been laid against all three men relating to possession of controlled substances and possession of the proceeds of crime over $5,000. All three men remain in police custody and will appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court in the afternoon of November 28, 2024.
