Arrest - Internet Child Exploitation Unit

The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit has charged a Saskatoon man with child exploitation offences.

In August 2024, the Saskatchewan ICE Unit commenced an online investigation relating to child pornography. On December 11, 2024, the unit executed a Search Warrant at a home in Saskatoon. Electronic devices were examined on scene and seized by investigators.

As a result of the investigation, 28-year-old Terrence Walker of Saskatoon was charged on December 12, 2024 with the following:

2 Counts of Possession of Child Pornography.

1 Count of Making Child Pornography Available.

Walker appeared in court on December 12 and has been released on numerous conditions. His next court appearance is set for January 8, 2025 in Saskatoon Provincial Court.

The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the Saskatchewan RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service, and Prince Albert Police Service. Their mandate is to investigate crimes involving the abuse and/or exploitation of children on the Internet.
