One man has been charged after an assault on Sunday.

On December 15, 2024, at around 10 a.m., Police were called to the 300 block of Avenue L North for the report of an injured person. Upon arrival a 31-year-old man was found outside a residence, with injuries caused by a knife. Medavie Health Services transported the victim to hospital with what are believed to be serious but non life threatening injuries. Police learned that the incident had occurred in a nearby residence and the suspect might still be inside. The suspect, a 30-year-old man, was found inside the residence and subsequently arrested.

The 30-year-old man is charged with Assault Causing Bodily Harm.
