One man has been arrested following an aggravated assault on the weekend.
At around 10:30 p.m. on March 10, 2025, a 41-year-old Saskatoon man turned himself in to police following an aggravated assault that occurred on March 8, 2025.
He was arrested without incident and subsequently charged with aggravated assault.

Police are investigating following an assault on the weekend.
At approximately 8:10 p.m. on March 8, 2025, police were called to the 1200 block of Junor Avenue for a report of an altercation. Upon arrival, officers located a man that was visibly injured. Further investigation by police determined that a man known to him had struck him in the face with a can of bear spray before proceeding to slash him with a machete; the suspect then fled the area. The victim was transported to hospital by Medavie Heath Services West with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect has not been arrested but police are continuing to investigate.
