One man was arrested and charged last night, following an evade-police incident.

On March 13, 2025, at approximately 7:45 p.m., Patrol officers were dispatched to a business in the 3300 block of Fairlight Drive for a vehicle theft in-progress. Police located the stolen truck at Avenue K North and 23rd Street West and attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the driver fled in an evasive manner. Additional SPS officers successfully deployed stop sticks, ending the evade incident near Faithful Avenue and 64th Street East, where the suspect and lone occupant of the vehicle was arrested without incident.

A 61-year-old Saskatoon man is charged with Theft of a Vehicle, Dangerous Driving, Evade Police, Driving while Prohibited and Breach of Probation.
