A woman is facing weapons-related charges after threatening a bus driver early this morning.

At approximately 12:40 a.m., March 25, 2025, patrol officers responded to 44th Street and 1st Avenue North for a report that a City of Saskatoon Transit operator had been threatened by a woman with a knife after declining to take her to a specific location. When police arrived, the woman was taken into custody without incident, and found to be in possession of a knife and two screw drivers.

The transit operator was not injured.

The 20-year-old female is charged with Uttering Threats, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, and Carrying Concealed Weapon.
