Evade/Arrests – 1700 Block Ave. G N

Three people were arrested early this morning following an evade-police incident.

At approximately 12:45 a.m., April 1, 2025, Patrol officers observed a stolen Dodge Ram at 23rd Street East and 3rd Avenue North. Prior to officers attempting a traffic stop, the driver fled at a high rate of speed. A tire deflation device was successfully deployed and the suspect vehicle was abandoned in the 1700 block of Avenue G North. Police observed two suspects flee from the truck; One was arrested nearby following a brief struggle. He appeared to be under the influence of an intoxicant. The second suspect was located and arrested in a nearby backyard, attempting to hide from officers. The driver was arrested near the vehicle without incident. Upon searching the vehicle, Police located and seized a bag of methamphetamine and a scale.

A 26-year-old Saskatoon woman is charged with Dangerous Driving and Evading Police.

A 19-year-old North Battleford man is charged with Trespassing at Night and Breach of Probation.

An 18-year-old man from Poundmaker Cree Nation is charged with Public Intoxication.
