Two people have been arrested following an investigation by the Guns and Gangs Unit.
At around 6:00 p.m. on April 7, 2025, members of the Guns and Gangs Unit, with the assistance of the Tactical Support Unit and National Weapons Enforcement Support Team, executed a search warrant at an address in the 200 block of Avenue N North and effected the arrests of two people. The following evidentiary seizures were subsequently made;
- $10,300 CAD
- Prohibited .22 Browning rifle
- Prohibited 303 Lee Enfield rifle
- Restricted 9mm handgun
- Assorted ammunition
- 3.44 grams of fentanyl
- 2.1 grams of methamphetamine
- Cell phones (x3)
- Scale
- Money counter
As a result of investigation, a 33-year-old man and 34-year-old woman are facing a combined total of 15 charges relating to drugs, weapons, and proceeds of crime.
