A man is facing charges after being found in possession of a firearm last night.

At approximately 9:30 p.m., April 13, 2025, patrol officers responded to a report of a person armed with a firearm in the 800 block of Idylwyld Drive North. When the male suspect observed police arrive, he fled on foot. A conducted energy weapon was successful in taking him into custody. Upon the suspect's arrest, Police located a CO2 firearm concealed in his waistband.

The 27-year-old male is charged with Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, and breach of court-imposed conditions. (Court Info # 991300260)
