A youth is facing charges after deploying bear spray last night.

At approximately 8:00 p.m., April 15, 2025, patrol officers responded to a weapons complaint in the 300 block of Confederation Drive. Upon arrival, officers learned a group of youth had been involved in a physical altercation and bear spray was deployed.

A 17-year-old male matching the suspect description was located nearby and arrested. He is charged with Assault with a Weapon, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, and breaching court-imposed conditions.
