One man was transported to hospital following a shooting last night.

At around 8:00 p.m. on April 24, 2025, police were called to the 100 block of Avenue U South for a report of an injured person. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound outside an apartment building. Medavie Health Services West attended and transported the victim to hospital for treatment of what was believed to be a non-life-threatening injury. It is unknown if the suspect(s) and victim were known to one another.

Members of the Serious Assault Unit are continuing to investigate.
