Police are investigating following a stabbing yesterday evening.

At around 6:45 p.m. on April 24, 2025, police were called to the riverbank in the area of Avenue C South and Spadina Crescent West for a report of an injured person. Upon arrival, officers located a man suffering from several stab wounds and began providing medical attention while communicating the victim’s location to responding paramedics; he was then transported to hospital by Medavie Health Services West for treatment of what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect(s) had fled the scene prior to police arrival; however, members of the Serious Assault Unit are continuing to investigate.
