The Saskatoon Police Serious Assault Unit is investigating after a youth was assaulted last night.

Shortly before 9:30 p.m., April 28, 2025, police responded to a residence in the 1200 block of 22nd Street West for a reported injured person. Upon arrival, police located a youth suffering from injuries consistent with a bladed weapon. Upon further investigation, it was determined the 16-year-old male victim had been assaulted by a man armed with a knife in a parking lot in the 900 block of 22nd Street West.

The 16-year-old was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
