One woman was arrested following a report of bear spray being discharged yesterday morning.

At around 8:30 a.m. on May 14, 2025, police received a report of a person that had been observed discharging bear spray. Officers attended to the area and located a woman matching the suspect’s description nearby; she was arrested without incident and found to be in possession of bear spray.

As a result, the 18-year-old woman was charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace and unauthorized carry of a concealed weapon.
