Saskatoon Police responded to a weapons call early this morning.

Shortly before 1:00 a.m., May 28, 2025, patrol officers responded after a man reported a verbal altercation that escalated to a physical assault in the 2000 block of Main Street. The suspect then threatened the victim with what was described to be a handgun.

The 21-year-old victim was not seriously injured and the suspect fled in a black SUV prior to police arrival.

The suspect is described as having chin-length hair, and was last seen wearing a light-coloured toque, a black sweater, khaki pants, and white crocs.
