One man was arrested following an assault yesterday evening.

At approximately 9:00 p.m. on May 29, 2025, police were called to a business in the 2200 Block of 22nd Street West for a report of a man attempting to fight with a security guard. Upon arrival, officers learned that a man had entered the business, approached the security guard, and assaulted him unprovoked; the victim was not seriously injured and did not know the suspect.

The suspect, a 27-year-old man, was arrested by police without incident and charged with assault, mischief under $5000, and failure to comply with court-imposed conditions (x2).
