Weekend Stabbings

The Saskatoon Police Service wishes to clarify that in file # 25-76815, the 29-year-old female was the victim of a stabbing that resulted in the arrest of a 63-year-old female. 

Saskatoon Police responded to several stabbings over the weekend.

25-75200: At approximately 5:00 a.m., May 30, 2025, a male reported having been stabbed a few hours earlier in the area of 22nd Street West and Avenue W North.

25-75881: Shortly before 3:30 a.m., May 31, 2025, patrol officers responded to a back alley near 4th Avenue and 25th Street and located a 23-year-old female suffering from stab wounds.

25-76433: At approximately 1:30 a.m., June 1st, police located a 26-year-old man who reported having been stabbed in the 100 block of Avenue T South.

25-76633: At approximately 1:15 p.m., June 1st, police responded to a hotel in the 100 block of Circle Drive West after an 18-year-old man was reportedly stabbed.

Suspects in the above incidents fled prior to police arrival.

25-76815: Shortly after 8:30 p.m., June 1st, a member of the Bike Unit was on patrol in the area of 2nd Avenue and 20th Street when they were waved down by a 29-year-old female. A 63-year-old female was arrested a few blocks away and has been charged with Assault with a Weapon, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, Carrying Concealed Weapon, Obstruction, and breach of court-imposed conditions.

The victims in all of the incidents were transported to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
