One man is facing drug trafficking charges following an investigation by the Saskatoon Police Service Guns & Gangs Unit, with assistance from the Tactical Support Unit (TSU).
On January 15, 2025, at 11:30 a.m., investigators arrested an individual believed to be trafficking cocaine in various parts of Saskatoon. Members of TSU initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle at Acadia Drive and Leddy Crescent. The male suspect was found to have approximately 30g of cocaine and more than $500 cash on his person. He was taken into custody without incident.
A search warrant was executed at a residence in the 300 block of Avenue T South. Investigators located various types of drug packaging, cell phones, a scale and other items consistent with drug trafficking.
The twenty-year-old man is charged with Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of the Proceeds of Crime Under $5000.
