Police are investigating following recent stabbing incidents.

At around 6:30 p.m. on June 16, 2025, police were called to the 300 block of Avenue R South for a report of an injured person. Upon arrival, officers located the male victim suffering from what was believed to be a non-life-threatening stab wound. A short time later, an update was received that a different man had showed up to a nearby hospital suffering from non-life-threatening stab wounds. Preliminary investigation suggests both stabbings to be related. Members of the Serious Assault Unit are continuing to investigate.

At around 11:00 p.m. on June 16, 2025, police were called to the 900 block of 22nd Street West for a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers found a man suffering from what was believed to be a non-life-threatening stab wound; he was transported to hospital by paramedics for treatment of his injury. The suspect had fled the area but police are continuing to investigate.
