A 24 year old Saskatoon woman is facing charges following a weapon related incident last night.

At approximately 9:00 p.m., June 17, 2025, Police were called to the 300 block of Avenue Q South. It was reported that a group of males were possibly armed with a weapon at the address. Upon arrival, officers observed a female who was armed with a machete. As she was taken into custody several males at the scene fled on foot. One of them was seen to be carrying a handgun. Officers were not able to locate them.

The woman is facing two counts of Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace (machete and bear spray).
