Saskatoon Police are investigating a pair of attempted armed robberies that occurred on New Year's Day.

At approximately 5:45 p.m., January 1, 2025, Police were called to the 200 block of Slimmon Road. A man reported having been inside an ATM vestibule when he was approached by an unknown male who was holding a knife and demanded money. When the victim refused, the male suspect fled the scene.

A short time later, a woman was approached while using an ATM vestibule in the 100 block of Lenore Drive. Again, an unknown male demanded money. When the woman refused, the suspect fled on foot.

The suspect description is similar in both incidents. He is described as between 30 and 40 years of age, about 140 lbs, wearing all black - including a black balaclava or mask.

Neither victim was physically injured.
