Attachment: Arrest - Drug Trafficking Investigation - Cash, Cocaine, Car Seized

One man has been arrested following the conclusion of a drug trafficking investigation.

On July 2, 2025, members of the Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) Crime Reduction Team (CRT) and Calgary Police Service Gun Violence Enforcement Team (GVET) conducted enforcement action on a man believed to be trafficking cocaine in Saskatoon with warrants out of Alberta. With the assistance of the SPS Tactical Support Unit (TSU), the CRT and GVET arrested the man at an apartment in the 400 block of Berini Drive and subsequently searched the suite and two vehicles. As a result of investigation, the following evidentiary seizures were made;

  • $8335 CAD
  • 107 grams of cocaine
  • 68 grams of crack cocaine
  • 2007 Infiniti FX35
  • Cell phones (x5)
  • Assorted paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking

As a result, the 18-year-old man has been charged with possession of a controlled substance (x2), possession of the proceeds of crime over $5000, obstructing a police officer, operating a conveyance while prohibited, and failure to comply with court-ordered conditions.
