A 43 year old man is facing a number of charges following an incident on July 11, 2025.

At approximately 9:30 that morning Police received a report of an altercation taking place between two men in the 200 block of Avenue V North. Upon arrival Police learned that a 54 year old man had been threatened with bear spray by the male suspect before he fled the scene. It was also reported that the suspect may be armed with a knife. Officers were able to locate the suspect a short distance away. He was found to be in possession of a knife and bear spray. He is now facing charges of; Assault, Uttering Threats, Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace (x2), Carrying a Concealed Weapon (x2) and Obstructing a Peace Officer.
