On July 8, 2025, a Saskatoon Police Service CTSS (Combined Traffic Service Saskatchewan) officer was conducting speed enforcement on Valley Road. Along with members from the Corman Park and Vanscoy Police Service, a traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle that did not have a license plate. Further investigation revealed that the occupants were in possession of a number of stolen drivers licenses, birth certificates, treaty cards, forged cheques, and forged documents. Numerous drugs and drug paraphernalia were also located inside the vehicle.
A 42 year old male was arrested and charged with 17 criminal code violations including, identity theft, fraud, forgery, possession of methamphetamine and cocaine, and breach of release conditions. In addition to these charges, he was also arrested on a number of outstanding warrants.
The driver, a 33 year old male, was issued three tickets related to the traffic stop, and the vehicle was impounded for 60 days.
