A man is facing weapons-related charges following a report that he was armed with a gun yesterday morning.

Shortly after 9:30 a.m., July 15, 2025, patrol officers responded to a report of a man threatening a woman with a firearm and forcibly confining her at a residence in the 300 block of Avenue J North. Upon arrival, officers located and arrested the suspect.

A 38-year-old man is charged with Point Firearm, Unlawful Confinement, Assault with a Weapon, and Utter Threats. (Court Info # 991309455).

The 26-year-old female was not physically injured.
