One man was arrested following a stabbing yesterday evening.

Shortly after 8:00 p.m. on July 16, 2025, police responded to the area of 20th Street East and 2nd Avenue South for a report of a man chasing another man with a knife. Further investigation determined that the men had engaged in a verbal altercation that resulted in one of the men producing a knife and stabbing the other multiple times. The suspect was located in front of a nearby mall and arrested without incident.

As a result, the 30-year-old man has been charged with aggravated assault.
