A woman is facing charges after being found in possession of a knife yesterday afternoon.

At approximately 1:30 p.m., July 17, 2025, it was reported that a female had brandished a knife in a business in the 100 block of 2nd Avenue North. Members of the SPS Bike Unit attended and located the suspect who was attempting to assault a male entering a different business.

Upon her arrest, she was found in possession of a knife and believed to be under the influence of an intoxicant.

The 33-year-old female is charged with Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, and breach of court-imposed conditions.
